Labor fails the people of Frankston

Labor has failed the people of Frankston by providing no money in the budget to remove the level crossings along its rail line.

Opposition leader Matthew Guy visited Frankston this week describing Daniel Andrews' level crossing removal program as “all talk and no action”.

POLITICAL adversaries have stirred the pot over dangerous level crossings on the Frankston train line.Liberal leader Matthew Guy was in Frankston this week describing the State Government’s level crossing removal program as “all talk and no action”.

Mr Guy said the new State Budget included money for an authority to oversee the crossing removal program, but there was no money to actually remove the crossings.

“No funding has been allocated for any level crossing (removal) — it’s entirely dependent on the sale of the Port of Melbourne,” he said.
