Labor cuts Support for the Aviation Industry
Labor's Industry Minister disclosed at an estimates hearing on Friday that Labor has cut support in Victoria for the aviation industry, stating "it is not part of the government's agenda."
The Coalition saw the importance of aviation and aerospace and provided more than $25 million in industry funding in four years, and committed to provide $5 million a year on-going.
In our term in office we upgraded 22 regional airports boosting their utility for local communities. Unfortunately that work has now come to a halt, as Labor lacks a vision for the state's aviation industry.
